A pampered day

Carla and I got up at 5am Saturday morning after painting til nearly midnight to have a morning of pampering.....which included driving to Abilene in the pouring rain so we could enjoy a good morning shopping and smelling the sweet smell of lumber at Lowes...then headed off the sonic for a wonderful breakfast burrito...we really enjoyed the sit down breakfast...(We love to pamper ourselves).... to wrap up our wonderful morning and to be home by lunch we headed off to the farm and ranch supply to buy a horse trough and then to the bike store to pick up Carla's bike.....Those are the highlights and the day of the life of pampered women...wish you could enjoyed it with us.

Food- Family-Friends

What more could a girl ask for......a couple of weekends ago we all got up early...hit a few garage sales...then went to a pancake breakfast....what a way to spend a saturday morning with food, family & Friends.....

Another busy but yet awesome weekend...
Friday started with the car show at big country where I found the cutest camper that was being auctioned on Saturday ...then we took Shelby & Lacey Bufkin's pictures afterwards they treated us to super at the apple deli....Later on we all went to see Rich O'Toole & Zack Harmon in concert at the Belle Opry house....we had a blast....wish you all would have been there. Saturday we took pictures of Saylor, the sweetest 6 month old ever!
This morning I went to visit Jeff & Joani and you'll never guess what I saw in Shelby & Lacey's backyard....Yea..you guessed right, it was the camper I wanted so bad to paint hot pink with leopard spots...LOL I know they will enjoy it especially at TT tailgate parties, and so yet again, Jodi & I will be on the lookout for another one.....

Graduation is near

Wheww Hooooooo Seniors only 26 days left until graduation!!!!! We are so proud of you all and wish you the best in the future.....We also wanted to say Thanks for choosing us for your graduation pictures. We feel like we have made lots of new friendships that will last a lifetime!

Yesterday

Yesterday was the busiest day of our lives...I think! (Birthday, Prom, and a Wedding Shower for Erin Burleson) it started at 6:30am when we all meet at Carla's for her 47th birthday coffee, then we hit a garage sale with Clarissa & Jodi (have you ever had to sign in at a garage sale...well we did LOL), then it was off to the office to work a while, the girls had to be taken to get hair, nails, & etc for prom, then lots & lots of pre-prom pics, we had to rush to the Talbott's for a wedding shower that we were late for, then back to limo for more prom pics, then back to the Talbott's(we all wanted to have a slumber party in the upstairs princess room), but finally at 10pm we headed to Linda's for margaritas and hot tub! WoW what a night....we think Carla had a great birthday, because I know she made us laugh all night....see below as she squashes Teresa into the wall trying to take off the cover.

SENIORS 09 Rock!

We are have having the time of our life shooting Seniors this year!.....Chris You were awesome to photograph!!! Great personality...We know what ever you do in life you will succeed....Please just hold on tight when you're riding bulls next year...that scares me!

The Toomb's

Today we took picture of the Toomb's kids with Aggie(the family pet).....we had alot of fun! Aggie was super to work with and the kids even got a free massage out of it. We are sure going to miss them when they move this summer!

Art Show "Colors of the West" by Ross Hataway

Last night Carla and I went to an Art show at the Manhattan Coffeehouse and had a blast....we didn't realize that we knew such a talented artist. We can't wait to display Ross's art work in our store(hopefully that will be soon)!

You know you are good buds when you come to work dressed alike and you didn't even call each other....LOL...but funnier is that evidently a moth ate my sweater and made tiny holes all in it but I was bound and determined to wear orange this morning, then when I got to work Carla has orange on, by then I was to stubborn to take my moth eaten sweater off so we were twins...."Orange" you glad you read my story!

Ft. Worth

I had a great weekend with my family. We all met up down town Ft. Worth Friday afternoon for a weekend blast...horse carriage rides, Six Flags, Galleria, PF Changs, Bowling,lunches on the patio at Jakes, Shopping, lots and lots of pictures, swimming, walking, botanical gardens...we did it all. My husband, kids and friends are the greatest on earth. What a lucky girl I am! I'm hoping to do it again real soon....Love you family!

Monday, monday..........
My creative partner did her stuff, she is so talented and i look forward to learning from her. I, on the other hand spent the day out in the yard doing my stuff. I love the sunshine...it makes me smile. carla

FAIRYtale Wedding

My sister married her Prince lastnight in her fairytale wedding. I think they are now on their honey moon in New York....the city of romance. It was a very sweet wedding with family and friends.....cake and punch were to die for!

Carla and I had our first photoshoot as new business partners.....wow it was fun we had 4 tiny beautiful curly headed girls to work with and they were very energetic....It was alot of fun and a great time....check out my new business partner preparing for the shoot.......

Slumber Party

Slumber parties....aren't they great! Although you realize how old you are the next day when you are tired and your brain hurts especially because you have to be at work by 8am. My friend Kim from Fort Worth came down and she spent the night. We stayed up until 2am catching up on gossip and laughing all night about the "Good Ole Days" I think everyone no matter how young or old should have a slumber party at least once a month. It does the heart good to see old friends

Spring Fever

....I have Spring Fever like I'm sure so many of you do. An instant cure for the fever is a flea market and it just so happens March 27 - April 4th there is a huge one in Round Top...if you haven't been you need to grab you a couple of buddies and go...You'll be hooked
